Additional investment in the exciting area of Electrical Power. Söderbergföretagen acquires HM Power AB
In August 2025, Söderbergföretagen acquired a minority stake in HM Power AB, which sells products and services to electricity grid companies in the Nordic region. The main products are the in-house developed Smart Ring switchgear, which is available for various voltages and rated data, as well as control cabinets for transmission and distribution facilities for electric power. The assembly of the products takes place at the company's own workshop in Västerås, where the company is also headquartered. The CEO of HM Power is Lars Hjort, who is also a board member of Nätstationsalliansen, which has been a subsidiary of Söderbergföretagen for a couple of years.
The investment in HM Power is strategic for Söderbergföretagen. This is a natural continuation of the Group's investment in the Electrical Power business area.
